Apples and Apple Juice has numerous properties that are well known as being benificial to us. So, at Waulkmill we have decided to create a range of Natural Apple Juices and Apple Juices with Natural Wild Fruit Berries. Wild Berries such as Blae/Raspberry/Black currant/ Bramble and ElderBerry will all feature on our stock list this year.
The Seasonal Berries we use are from selected hedgrows from around Langholm and surrounding areas. We do not add anything to our BerryJuice that we dont have to, so you are sure of buying a Naturaly Produced Product. To maintain Consistancy and Quality, Our Juicing Apples are taken from a reputable local supplier.
We currently offer our Juices in 500ml / 250ml bottles and a 3Lt Bag in Box, and have a "Five Pack-One a Day" Pip's Lunch box selection for Childrens School Lunch Boxes.
Apples are graded and pressed in the same way as our Cider Apples are. The Juice is then Pasturised and Bottled straight away. There are no Additives / Colourings added to our Juice. We do use a little Vit C to the pulp so as to reduce the browning process( oxidisation) and thats it!. We do not and will not use Apple Concentrate, as the Seasons change so does our Juice as we only use Fresh Apples that are in Season at any one time.
The Berries for the additional Flavour are steamed to extract all the Goodness and Natural Colours from the fruit, this is added to the Bottles at the same time as the Apple Juice(a little sugar may be added to some berries to enhance the Natural flavour).
